We are seeking compassionate and reliable Nurse Assistants / Caregivers to provide high-quality, non-clinical care to clients in home or assisted living settings. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to supporting the well-being and comfort of individuals, especially the elderly or vulnerable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care routines
- Support mobility and physical activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment
- Remind clients to take medications as prescribed
- Follow care plans and instructions from supervising healthcare
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors
What's great in the job?
- 1. Relevant Training or Certification
- Must have training in caregiving, health assistance, or a related field (e.g. Nursing Assistant Certificate).
- 2. Basic Experience in Patient Care
- At least 6 months to 1 year experience in elderly care, homecare, or hospital support services is preferred.
- 3. Personal Care Skills
Ability to assist with:
- Bathing and grooming
- Feeding
- Dressing
- Toileting
- Mobility support
- Full-time / Part-time
- Live-in or Live-out options available
4. Medication Reminders
Ability to remind clients to take prescribed medications (no clinical administration required).
5. Compassionate Nature
Must demonstrate empathy, patience, and a caring attitude.
6. Communication Skills
Clear and effective communication with clients and team members.
7. Ability to Follow Instructions
Must adhere to care plans and guidance from healthcare professionals.
8. Physical Fitness
Capable of assisting with lifting and general mobility support.
9. Hygiene and Professionalism
Maintain personal cleanliness and ensure a hygienic environment.
10. Flexibility
Willing to work flexible hours, including live-in or live-out arrangements.
11. References (Preferred)
At least one or two referees with valid contact details.
